To expand our reach and increase access to resources needed by the individuals and communities we serve, C.A.R.E.S. has aligned with Confidant Health, a virtual clinic specializing in substance use and mental health.

The C.A.R.E.S Group History

The C.A.R.E.S. Group, founded by a mother and her son, is a direct response to the increase in addiction, overdoses, and tragic deaths of young people in local communities. They felt first-hand the devastating impact that substance use has on the entire family. In their personal struggles, which span over a decade, they discovered a lack of available resources for parents and other affected family members.

C.A.R.E.S. offers weekly support groups that provide professional facilitation, ongoing education, support services, and recovery resources for parents, families, and community members addressing issues related to substance misuse and its devastating effects.

What is Confidant Health?

Confidant Health is a virtual substance use and mental health clinic dedicated to offering evidence-based care for individuals and families. Confidant is restructuring care delivery to remove barriers to high-quality care for addiction and commonly co-occurring mental health conditions. Clinical services, such as medications and therapy, and holistic services to support wellbeing, including coaching, support groups, and education, are all available virtually on the Confidant platform for as little as $1.
